  1. Prelims Exam: The preliminary examination is the first step in the selection process. The test is conducted via a computer-based test consisting of objective-type questions. Exam topics usually include English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates need to qualify in each section to be shortlisted for the main examination.
  2. Mains Exam: The main examination is the second stage during the selection process. Like prelims, it is also a computer-based test and consists of objective-type questions. There are typically four subjects covered in the main examination: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. For consideration, candidates must clear the sectional and overall cutoffs.

Upon completion of the main examination, a merit list is prepared based on the number of vacancies and the performance of the candidates. The shortlisted candidates are then invited to participate in the final selection process, which may include document verification.
